Great for holding cash
These plastic envelopes are so sturdy & nice looking. I use them for cash budgeting. I bought my first set 7 years ago. Just bought another set for more budgeting categories. Highly recommend this.

Perfect for what I needed
Needed something to keep 4×6 postcards from getting bent in my bag. Perfect size. At first I thought I wanted a snap or velcro closure, but the tie closure on these makes it more versatile.

Colors not as described/pictured
No lime green. The purple is faded. But the colors are still pretty: yellow, peacock, blue, maroon, purple. They are expandable.

Saved My Magazine Library!
For no apparent reason, a few years ago I started buying these clear plastic folders to hold foreign magazines I cherish. As the months and years went by I became obsessed with putting everything away packed in these really great folders. Then, it happened! January 2019. A super steep drop in temperature here in NYC occurred and heating pipes started bursting in apartments sending hot steam and water throughout some of my neighbor’s living rooms. The local N Y Fire Dept. almost set up tents in the hallways it was happening so often. Two spaces on my floor were totaled and the tenant had to move in with their kids until the apartments could be repaired. We’re talking weeks! The apartment above mine became a victim of the freezing wind hitting the hot radiator pipes and, you guessed it, water began seeping down my walls and windows on to my books and magazines! After the first accident I ran to the hardware store and bought plastic floor covering and covered everything. Books, magazines, tablets, you name it. And, of course, I had the stack of magazines (my beloved copies of Donna Hay magazines, et al) protected in the plastic envelopes. They were sitting directly under the water leak!!!I grabbed the plastic envelopes and wiped them off with a towel. Then I noticed four back issues of Donna Hay mags did not have the covers on them! Yes, they were ruined. It took me days to dry them but they were ruined. When you look at what back issues of her magazines are selling for on Amazon now, you realize I lost a couple of hundred bucks! Whose fault is it? Mine! For some reason, I had not put these issues in the plastic legal envelopes! Everything else, (whew!) was saved!I will be ordering this product for years! When I get down to the last one, I immediately re-order another set from Amazon. I have made trips to stationery stores in Manhattan (Famous ones) but they don’t have this size and they aren’t as strong.I cannot thank the makers of these life and magazine savers enough! If I had not protected my library, thousands of dollars would have been lost, and I would be in a padded room at Bellevue! That’s our mental health hospital! If you have tax documents, birth certificates, passports, DMV items, rent leases, you name it, put them all in one of these large legal envelopes and sleep at night. In the event (please, Lord, no!) of a fire or another pipe disaster, I can go to the chest of drawers, grab my documents, and run! If you don’t order some for yourself, you will someday, I assure you, kick yourself for not doing it. Life has become so unpredictable and chaotic, you have to have a backup for your personal information. If you collect magazines and first editions like I do, invaluable safety. Peace of mind? You betcha!

Safer for vaccine cards!!
I got these sleeves to store vaccine cards and childhood vaccine record books. Most vaccine card storage sleeves on the market right now are made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride)-based plastic, which isn’t good for longterm storage of paper due to acid content causing the paper to disintegrate. These are sturdy but flexible, well-made, and easy to see through. I like the colors, and the polypropylene is safe for paper storage. If you’re unsure, read up on “archival paper storage” but these are what you need.
