Promote a healthy latex-free environment at work or at home with Alliance Non-Latex Rubber Bands. Ideal for use by or around those with latex sensitivities, these rubber bands are made from a synthetic rubber compound that helps to prevent triggering latex allergy reactions. The bright orange color of these non-latex bands makes them easy to distinguish from regular bands. The soft stretch of the elastics is easy on your wrists to prevent the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome when doing repetitive actions, particularly in an office environment. The high rubber content makes these rubber bands strong and durable so that they can be re-used many times.
Use these elastic bands wherever you would use normal rubber bands, such as for organization in offices, schools or at home. Safely bundle utensils in medical facilities or cover up equipment not in use by securing covers with these non-latex bands. They’re also great for packed lunches and to keep produce and food secured. These rubber bands can be sterilized using an autoclave and irradiation so that they’re safe and clean to use in medical facilities.
NON-LATEX DESIGN: The synthetic rubber formulation of these non-latex elastic bands won’t cause reactions in those with latex allergies, making them a safe choice in latex-free environments.
SOFT-STRETCH: These non-latex elastic bands are easy to stretch and manipulate to secure small boxes, bags and more. This can help in reducing symptoms related to carpal tunnel syndrome from repetitive actions.
DISTINCTIVE COLOR: With a bright orange color, it’s easy to identify and distinguish these bands from regular latex elastics to prevent choosing a band that might cause a reaction.
STERILIZATION: These non-latex elastic bands can be sterilized using an autoclave and irradiation to ensure they’re safe for use in medical facilities.
MULTI-PURPOSE: Use these elastic bands in the home, office, school or medical workplaces to prevent reactions by people with latex sensitivities. They can be used for fastening bags, organizing folders and more.

Regularly on sale for $5 exceptional deal for useful size and color sturdy bands.
I really appreciate things that are highly useful in many situations and I really appreciate good value for my money so this particular product can and has seriously brightened my mood more than once. Weird maybe but true. I’ve never interacted with the seller beyond purchasing boxes of these but, given the opportunity, I’d happily buy them a beer and happily tell them about my appreciation for folks who still manage to offer something good for a great price in this time of cheap junk swamping the market while still charging inflated prices. These are very well done bands and are thick and sturdy. They have great elasticity that holds up well so long as they aren’t exposed to sunlight. The orange color is pleasant and helpful to me. Size 64 is an excellent general purpose size being strong enough to securely hold many different things in many situations while still economical, small and flexible enough for light duty tasks. Of course the economy is compounded by the, frankly, stunningly low price that I’ve seen these regularly offered at. These would still be an excellent value at double the $5/lb price that I’ve paid several times over the last 18 months to now 11/07/2024.

Non-traditional use of attaching wings to R/C aircraft
Who would ever write a review about the common rubber band? An office supply geek? A postal worker who is sick of seeing them? Someone with too little to occupy their lives? I don’t know but in my case, it’s because I don’t use them as rubber bands but rather the bands to attach removable high wings on radio controlled aircraft trainers. These trainer type aircraft come with wings which are held on by elastic or rubber bands so that they are easy to remove and perhaps a bit more “flexible” in a crash. Now, since they are holding on the actual wing, things like strength, durability, flexibility are all important as you really don’t want to lose your wing while in flight. Not only do these meet the necessary criteria better than anything I’ve tried, they are also a nice and bright fluorescent orange color. Why is color important? Well, sometimes things come off a model airplane while it is in flight. Sometimes it’s important things like propellers and you will know immediately that something has gone drastically wrong, even as you run to order repair parts for your airplane. However, sometimes it is one of these rubber bands breaking loose (you use more than one per side for this reason) but all you can see with you plane 200 feet in the air is “something” falling out of the sky that shouldn’t be. Well, with the bright orange, it’s fairly easy to identify the falling object as a broken rubber band and thus no need to panic (unless you didn’t double strap in which case you too are running to order repair parts and perhaps reconsidering the amount of adult beverages you consume on a regular basis). So yes, it’s a dumb little rubber band that we all take for granted BUT, if you’re going to buy rubber bands for whatever reason, you might as well buy the best on the market and get them in a really cool color. Hey, the color will make it easy to identify the nefarious rubber band thieves that inhabit every office and you’ll be able to bring the office supply police down on them. And if you are dumb enough to waste 100’s of dollars crashing radio controlled aircraft (like me), you’ll appreciate these particular bands. If you have other uses for them which cannot be discussed on a family friendly site like Amazon, please keep them to yourself and consider counseling.

Buy for Color and Quality
They are expensive, so the reason you would choose them are for 1) Unique Bright Color and 2) Quality/Reusability.You’ll pay more than double for Latex Free. Regular is around $4.50 per pound box of 425 versus $13.25 for 380 on Latex Free bands. (There’s less per pound when going Latex Free.)Need the unique color? These do stand out. They are Orange, not red as appears in the amazon picture. Orange-Orange. Definitely orange. Orange also isn’t typically sold, even in assorted. Great for identification, and also keeps people from stealing them (or knowing who’s leaving them littered about.)Reusability. You pay more, but if you’re using the same bands over and over they hold up better than regular rubber. My wife uses these as a postal worker so they see hard use and hold up much better than cheap regular bands. If you’re just wrapping something once and shipping it off (don’t care) then you’ll probably want to go with a (much) cheaper product.”Size 64″ / #64 rubber bands are what the post office uses. They are the perfect middle ground between skinny and fat bands and good for pretty much any use. These particular ones don’t meet the government (GSA) standard (often referred to as “Postal Grade”) because there are not enough of them per pound. (GSA requires 425.) They are superior in every aspect except weight. These bands are clean (don’t come covered in powder).4 stars. We love them because they last, and nobody dares steal them from her. The only complaint is price, but that’s what you have to pay for Latex Free and in our experience they are not only better bands, but about the only way you get really unique colors.

Can be hard to find at retail; perfect for No Latex situations
As an operator of a testing laboratory, we cannot have any latex products as cross contamination with our testing is a concern. These non-latex bands are well made, durable, perform just like latex equivalents, and the bright orange color makes it easy to note the non-latex formula is in use throughout our laboratory environment. We also have one office employee with a latex allergy who appreciates that we provide these for the office staff too.

These are GREAT! Such a wonderful, vibrant colour.Very strong; the colour doesn’t rub off, and the band doesn’t fray.

I know that these are just rubber bands and I know that nobody is paying me for this review… but you have to believe me…I went through my whole life thinking that rubber bands are not something you need to buy as you can just collect them from here and there.Wrong.These are superior rubber bands. When you replace your old habits with these rubber bands you will never go back to living in such squalor. Every uniform rubber band assists you in your tying and clamping needs.Buy them in bulk so you never get caught without your rubber bands. These things are awesome. And they make great Christmas presents.

We use these rubbers bands on robots, to help assist with lifts and devices, as well as to add friction to surfaces. These function great, they don’t have the strongest force, but they have a consistent force-stretch ratio, which is linear which means that it’s super great for calculations. These rubber bands are all fairly identical within a batch, meaning that you can expect one to perform similarly to another in any scenario. They do crack and dry out after a few months of use, and do have a bit of a break in period (about a week of use), but after that they are super consistent until they start to dry out. These last a long time, and are a great value for what you get.

These are great – and seem to be lasting really well where we’ve got them in use. I have found that a lot of the natural rubber bands we’ve bought in the past break down pretty fast, but in the 6 months we’ve been using these I’ve seen no loss in quality in the new bands still in the box, or the bands currently in use around the house. Highly recommended!
