Taking the physical dynamics of staple driving into consideration led our engineers to develop the unique PowerCrown feature. As this crowned (peaked) staple top is flattened during the staple drive, it forces the staple legs outward so they are more fully supported by the stapler magazine throughout the drive. This delivers more stapling force and reduced buckling for maximum penetration. Each full strip contains 210 staples and is constructed from superior quality high carbon wire to reduce buckling and jamming. Bostitch staples…THE BEST!
I have gone through a number of staplers over the years, having worked at a large insurance company and having to handle tons of paper. I actually have two Bostitch B8 staplers – one that I brought home from work when they were upgrading to electric or other staplers and, the other, one that was my grandparents. The one from work, was new in 1979 and, my grandparents…? I have NO idea how old it is but, I do remember it being around when I was a kid in the early 60’s. Anyway, the point is, these take the “crown top” (slightly rounded) and can be hard to locate. Thank goodness for Amazon! These little staplers are just amazing, made of metal and work above & beyond for numerous decades. Thank you for offering these staples!

Power Staples different than regular staples
I am a teacher with a bunch of staplers. I have come to find out the brand name Bostich goes best with the Bostich power stapler. They are more durable and have a specific shape for the power staplers. I did put a label on my box to remind me it was for the Power Stapler since I do have a lot of staplers as a teacher.

but I was so glad to find the staples I needed
After lengthy searching, I finally found these staples—-just what I needed for my several ancient Bostich staplers. Unlike standard more modern staples, which are flat, the ones I needed have a little bend across the top. These have the bend, and work perfectly. However, the box arrived loose in a shipping box with some other items, and it had come open, and all the staples were spilled. Quite a task to round all of them up, but I was so glad to find the staples I needed, I did not make a big deal of it.

Great Replacement
The first box of these staples was supplied to me at my first office job in the early ’70’s. So after some 50 years I ran out. I was surprised that the same brand and shape were still around, so I quickly ordered another 5,000 which I will not outlive.
