Customers say
Customers find the photo paper offers good value and works well with printers, producing professional-looking prints with vibrant colors. However, the paper quality receives mixed feedback, with some praising its quality while others compare it to cardstock. The matte finish and picture quality also get mixed reviews – while some like the matte finish, others say it’s not like photo paper, and while some appreciate the clear detailed images, others find them washed out. The thickness receives criticism, with customers noting it’s not as thick as cardstock.

Great! But not really photo paper
Been looking to start making art prints at home and it seems I’ve found the perfect starter paper! I’m printing on a Canon Pixma G6000, and have found that I only need to make very slight color adjustments based on what I’m printing. Quality seems great, and is the perfect weight I’m looking for (a little sturdier than regular printer paper).I will, however, agree with the comments that this isn’t really photo paper. I got this looking to make art prints, and would definitely recommend it for that- especially if this is your first go-around and are looking for an affordable option. But I cannot imagine using this if you’re seeking out high quality PHOTO prints. This paper is definitely more suitable for art prints or various crafting projects. Also DO NOT FORGET THAT THIS HAS NON-PRINTABLE INSERTS ON BOTH ENDS OF THE STACK. I had read reviews before purchasing that said this and still forgot, and it had me feeling crazy that my quality was bad and that the ink was bleeding/smudging like crazy ha. If you open the pack from the back side with the open tab, the front side will be facing down. The differences between sides are nearly imperceptible as others have said, but I find bending the paper and looking at it in a good light can help. The back side will appear to have more visual “texture” than the front, which is a completely smooth, clean white.

Nice paper for matte printing
I used this to print out some art for my kids wall. It’s a nice, thick matte paper and pictures printed out very clearly and looked nice on the paper.

Very good paper
This paper is extremely good for printing images that don’t require a glossy look to them. — I print reproduction art that i have drawn over the years, and the paper’s matte quality blows the regular photo paper i use out of the water.I will say, it does take time to get used to the paper’s single sided quality. (The brightest side of the paper is the printable matte side, and the back side is an off-white/beige (This side is printable, but will be very muted and mottled)– (The best way to tell if you have the paper facing the right way, is to take 2 pages and flip one around; look to see which side of the paper is the brightest. … Or print and find out…)Before you start printing, you may want to adjust your printer’s settings to get the best results for the paper. You can normally do this by printing an image on the paper, then gauging if you need to make it darker or lighter or tweak any other options you have.*Important side note: The setting(s) below may require more ink to be used, and will be slow to print*( Printing with the printer’s “Media Type: Photopapers> Matte Photo Paper *Print Quality: Standard*) – Or equivalent setting will improve the image quality a lot, This setting basically tells the printer to add more ink to the paper than normal because of the paper type (ink will soak into the page, where as with glossy photo paper, the ink “sits” on top of the page, so glossy photo paper doesn’t need as much ink)Print speed will be slow with this setting as the printer will print in tighter lines (good results do take time) – I wouldn’t change the print quality from standard, though; as if you print in “High” it just takes more time to print and doesn’t look any different.- ( I wouldn’t use this print setting on the backside of the paper however, it will print too dark and it won’t look as good, so print with the regular “Media Type: Plain Paper” setting if you’re printing on the back of the paper.)(I tend to print darker, deep rich shades of color with this paper. I use a word processor (WPS); for all of the printing i do.)I do plan on purchasing more in the future, the price is fabulous, and the quality is great

printing artwork and results were alright
Paper is good. Fast and compatible. The quality of the pic could be better but it may be my printer and not this paper.

Outstanding value
This matte paper produces beautiful images. Many reviews listed for this Canon MP-101 Matte paper must be incorrectly attributed, especially the ones about it being too thick. This is a great, light-to-medium-weight matte paper as opposed to the people who claim it’s too thick to feed or that it’s cardstock. I also note that several reviewers don’t know which side is the proper printing side, so if you know what you’re doing (it’s easy to tell), it’s no problem. Overall, I use this frequently and get totally satisfying results.

Seems like card stock not photo paper
Paper is good quality, however it doesnāt seem like photo paper. Itās more of a card stock type of paper.

Perfect for Greeting Cards | Matte Photo Paper Test
I tested this matte photo paper by printing a greeting card, and Iām really satisfied with the results! The prints came out vibrant and clear, even on the matte surface, which can sometimes dull colors. The thickness of the paper is also a big plusāit feels sturdy and high-quality, making it perfect for creating greeting cards, thank-you cards, or other printed crafts. As you can see in the video, the quality is consistent, and Iāll definitely order this again.

Almost can’t tell which side is the print-side. Both sides equally matte. The matte is not photographic grade matte, but paper cardboard kind of matte. Too rough for my liking but it holds colour well. For school projects ok. Not for photographic enthusiasts.
