Works like a dream
I’m old school. And besides, I’ve suffered plenty of paper cuts by using my index finger to open mail. This opener is small enough to seamlessly open a flimsy envelope, and sturdy enough to open a bigass box. And it’s comfortable in the hand. ā Would definitely buy again, but I doubt I’ll have to, as this will outlive me for sure. š

Decent buy, handle is comfortable.
My letter opener came on the duller side. I had thousands of letters to open and I had dulled it completely after about 200. It did not fit in my electric sharpener so I had to purchase a handheld one. After sharpening it’s back in use and it does the job. I’ve had to sharpen it 3 times now but I realized that would happen. The handle is nice on both sides so you can flip it over once the one side dulls. I do think the blade is on the thick side and it might be better to have a thinner one for certain envelopes.

I doubt you will find a better opener. I have had several and this beats them all. Easily opens any envelope

Be very careful taking this out of the package. It is sharp, like a knife is sharp.I had gotten the older style many times before. None of them were so sharp that it would or could cut your skin.
