Customers say
Customers find the letter opener reliable and well-built, with positive feedback about its appearance and functionality. However, the sharpness receives mixed reviews, with several customers noting it’s not sharp enough to replace scissors. Moreover, the size is criticized as rather small, and customers disagree on the cutting quality.

Got one for christmas and ended up buying several more. It’s useful for a lot more than just letters – it’s sharp enough to open packages but not sharp enough to cut you (although the tip is pointy enough). It works in situations where a knife might otherwise damage something.

Works looks even better!
Love the look and color, just wish it was a little bigger. Would buy again, especially if was bigger lol

Can get dull and not sure how to resharpen it.
I do like it (I bought 3 of them). But, at least one of them is already getting dull. Being teflon coated, I doubt there’s a way to sharpen it. I wish there was a way to get in touch with the manufacturer to find out how to resharpen it.

Exceptional Quality
I highly recommend this letter opener. The build quality is outstandingāthe metal feels durable and well-craftedāand itās incredibly easy to use. As someone who works in accounts receivable and opens a large volume of mail daily, Iāve gone through my fair share of openers. This one stands out as the best by far.Itās made a noticeable difference in my workflow, cutting through envelopes cleanly and efficiently without any hassle. Even after extensive daily use, it shows no signs of wear, which speaks volumes about its durability. If youāre looking for a reliable, high-quality letter opener that can handle heavy use, this is the one to get.

Good look bad working
Letter opening is what I bought this for, paper weight is what it functions as.The ‘knife’ has a rounded ‘edge’ that is duller than a marble.opening anything is very rough as the added texture for looks will crush and tear the paper rather than a smooth cut.I had to take a knife sharpener and profile the cutting edge to even do what it’s supposed to do, open letters! The amount of metal that needs to be taken off is a chore and the shape of the blade is very hard to sharpen. So if you are not good at sharpening knives or have a belt grinder and you just need a letter opener, go to office max/depot or walmart for that matter, they have ones that already has an edge and will work way better for cheaper.

Great letter opener, not a letter slicer.
The handle broken on my inherited letter opener, so I splurged and picked up one of these as a replacement.Works exactly as intended. The coating makes for a smoother pull and any adhesives don’t affect it as much. The point is sharp enough to pierce box tape (paper and cellophane) to open that. The blunt edge doesn’t work well for tape that is string reinforced (ie, heavy duty or silver duct tape).Again, this is a LETTER OPENER, NOT A SLICER. If you want your envelopes sliced open cleanly, get those cheap plastic 5 packs with an embedded razor blade for $3, or use a steak knife. Letter openers like this have been around for decades if not more without the need to sharpen them.

Does a great job
After all the cheap little letter openers broke, we got this one. Shop, narrow, does a great job and doesnāt tear up the envelope.
Eric Jung Kit Lau –
Looks cool, useless in function
This thing is not sharp whatsoever. Creates a jagged mess with rips. About as useful as using a butter knife to open an envelope. Completely regret this purchase .
