Reliable, Powerful, and Easy to use!
This paper shredder does exactly what I need it to do- and does it well! It handles multiple sheets at once with no issues and it shreds them into fine pieces for extra security. I’ve used it for junk mail, credit card offers, and even old credit cards, and it hasn’t jammed once. The bin is a good size and easy to empty, and the machine isn’t too loud which is a nice bonus. It is compact enough to tuck under my desk but still feels heavy duty. Great value for the price- highly recommend for home or small office use!

Unlike one of the other reviews, the shredder I received starts when paper is entered and stops when it has been shredded. 10 pages may be too many. 6 works fine. I have shredded 10 with a paperclip, but would not buy this one if you need this most of the time. It is not a commercial or office shredder, yet it works fine for my home office work. I get much more than 4 minutes before an overheat or stall. I have been using it very heavy for the last couple of days to clear up some files.

Got this to replace an old Fellowes unit that had dulled out and didn’t like more than 2 pages at a time. I have done 6 pages at a time with this shredder, and it was completely fine. I think it has good power to do more at one time if I needed to (I just haven’t yet as it is just for periodic home use). I like how small this shreds and the self-contained can that collects the small pieces. Great value for a home use shredder.

Worst Paper Shredder I ever bought
I only write reviews if an item is very good or very bad. This Bonsaii shredder is very very bad.I have purchased and used several paper shredders over the years. I have never had one that performs this poorly. I bought it because there were so many good reviews. Maybe the one I got is defective.There is no way to know. It just doesn’t do what it says it will do and that is frustrating.I have used this shredder for three days. It is very slow when it is actually working. In three days I have not finished a half of a business box of paper. It overheats. It clogs. It sometimes just stops shredding for no obvious reason. Someone said it works best in reverse…..true but not helpful for shredding.It is supposed to handle up to 10 sheets of paper. With two sheets it acts like it is going to quit. I am down to shredding only one sheet at a time. It is supposed to handle credit cards. One credit card made it stop shredding and refuse to take a sheet of paper until I cleaned it out. It overheats before the bin is full so I have to stop and let it cool for a couple of hours before I can continue shredding.I have never used this Bonsaii brand before and will never use it again. I threw away the box so I can’t return it.I’m trying to baby it through the rest of the papers I have to shred in that box. But, as soon as I am able to, I will buy another brand and throw this one in the trash where it belongs.I had to give it one star. There is no lower rating. The one star is because the basket is large enough but very cheaply made.Update: On the 4th day of use it finally died. I threw it away.
