Great Quality
Perfect compact size, great for home office. Works so fast and very heavy duty/durable. Easily fits under my desk and out of the way. Small enough you could put it on your desk or file cabinet if you wanted too. Fast shipping also.

Quality shredder
I rarely write reviews but I love this shredder. Itās the perfect size for my counter top, fitting under the above cabinet with enough space I can still use it just folding the paper in half. Itās definitely heavier than I expected but to me that just indicates that itās sturdy and well made. Quieter than the cheap versions and I love the security as it shreds it in small pieces. It was more than I really wanted to spend but so far Iām happy with it so it should pay for itself. Seems like a quality shredder.

Absolutely Amazing! Buy Once, Cry Once!! šš
I was hesitate at first due to paying over $100 for shredder but let me just say after watching videos of the less expensive ones, the sound was so ridiculous and I wanted a quiet one. Man am I glad I spent the extra money. This shredder is amazing!! Whisper quiet. All you hear is the paper shedding. Crumble up a piece of paper in your hand and thats how loud it is. The speed, the smoothness and 10 pages at time with staples… you cannot ask for better shredder. Yes it’s pricy but do you want a loud noisy machine which will probably give you hassle after hassle. I say cry once, buy once! You seriously will not be disappointed. Just do it. I’m 100% happy! Micro dot shredder too!

A fantastic paper and CD shredder
I got this primarily for CD shredding but of course it does a great job on paper too. It’s easy to clean and the front loading bin is convenient when it is time to empty the unit out. It does not seem to overheat easily, I haven’t been able to make it overheat at all in fact. One point of caution is that when shredding CDs sometimes plastic flies back up out of the slot, so keep your face away from it. If you have sunglasses or something to protect your eyes I would recommend it. This is a common problem with disc shredders and not really new to this unit. But if you need to shred a lot of CDs just be aware of some flying pieces now and then. It’s a nice looking shredder and holds a lot of material so overall I’m very happy with it. It’s much better than the kind of shredders that sit on top of a waste bin.

Short term review – product works well
I had a stack of documents I needed to shred, and this device did the job.Pros:Good manual, strongly suggest reading itTurns your docs with personally identifiable information (PII) into unreadable confettiReasonably fool proof, but see ConsReasonably quiet, I was impressedFairly robust, but suggested to stick to the 12 page limit, it can jamThe forward and reverse switch were always able to assist with clearing jams…so farCons:Switch is fiddly and seems cheap. I think the company should improve the switch on future models. Could be a point of failure, and as it’s a multi position switch, that probably means a shredded only good for the trash bin.No detector for a full confetti canister. Definitely err on the side of emptying too often, because it’s hard to open when jammed full of confetti!Don’t rely on the overload detector. I almost jammed it up to the point of having to consider some non trivial remedy. In this case, it was a set of folded sheets I did not unfold. Thinking it’s best not to feed it folded paper unless it’s only a few sheets.

Smaller size, easy to use, easy to empty
I love this little shredder!!! Itās small so it can fit anywhere you have space for it! They call it a desktop shredder, but we have ours sitting on the floor. If I have a lot of shredding, I will just move it up to our kitchen counter. Itās not lightweight, but still light enough to occasionally move from the floor to the counter. Think I read 17 lbs. Itās fairly quiet, but not totally, so if you want QUIET, this is not for you. It shreds GREAT!!! I love that it shreds it to such small pieces, almost like confetti! The shred bin fills up fast, so watch that you donāt let it get too full and back up into the shredder mechanism. Shred bin easily pulls out to empty it, so I would suggest after about 20 sheets, empty the bin. I have no negatives on this terrific little but mighty shredder.

Love the shreddings!
This is a very powerful little shredder. It does a great job. You can actually feed it quite a bit before the bin fills up. I think it has to do with the way it shreds the paper. Itās what I like most about it!! It shreds the paper into small squares that are bent! Itās so much fun. It almost creates a little fluff in the shreddings. Iām really glad I purchased this over a less expensive model.

Buyer beware. WHY Does Amazon UK go to the trouble of selling to the U.K. market what seems to be a very well-reviewed shredder, but which is only compatible with a 120V U.S. power outlet? The shredder seemingly shipped all the way from the U.S. and arrived reasonably quickly. There is no mention in the listing of what voltage it is compatible with, or that it comes with a molded-on U.S. plug!If you buy something in your local market, you expect it to be compatible with the electricity supply in your market.Unfortunately it’s not like a laptop’s switch-mode PSU that can accept a wide range of input voltage, and just needs an adapter plug; this contains a mains-powered motor, specifically designed for only 120 V operation. Have to return this unfortunately.

I was looking for a quality and high security paper shredder to fit on a shelf next to my printer. This Aurora Shredder is the perfect size and helped us free up space on the floor area in our small pantry. The micro cut is very secure and as a bonus, this is significantly quieter than my previous shredder.Based on my short term experience, I can highly recommend this shredder.

I was looking for a small good quality shredder for our home but most shredders are either bulky, too noisy or shred into large pieces. This is such a cute compact shredder that runs very quiet, micro cuts, and works perfect!

I was supplied with a US version of this product so now I have to buy a transformer plug to switch from 2 pins & 120 voltage. Itās too heavy for myself or my disabled husband to return.
