This shredder is amazing
This shredder is amazing. I am very happy with it. I go through all of my paperwork and sort it out and then shred. I have shredded 20 boxes and no problem whatsoever.

This heavy duty shredder is very compact and it looks nice. The rollers make it easy to use anywhere. It comes with great instructions, and it’s very easy to use.

Well so far not great – going back for replacement
At first it was actually great.QuietQuickNice FeaturesBut then in less than 1 week. The Feed Error light kept on going on. so I oiled the shredder heads and tried again. Nope still coming on. So then I looked a bit closer to find that the guide on one side actually broke off. So I ordered a replacement and will send this back.Hopefully it is just an one off issue and not a design flaw. We shall see. Stay tuned

Not a good choice
The document feeder constantly jams so you have to constantly monitor whether it’s working.Ā That defeats the whole point of having an automatic feeder.Ā Also, the manual feed accepts only 10 pages, which is very impractical, especially for a machine this size.

Took it out of box and set it up. This machine has no problems eating papers. It is surprising how quiet it is

It works good for the most part but does jam up so you have to open it and fix the jam before it starts to work again

After having many smaller shredders that overheat and fail, Iāve been very happy with this unit during many months of heavy use.Also bought the lubrication sheets which help.

Not Worth It
This product looks very nice and seems like a great buy. However, it is not. The product will break easily when shredding. This is due to a design flaw. In the gear box, there is plastic which when it becomes strained it snaps and will no longer turn the blades thus rendering the shredder useless. It is not worth it at all and is a huge waste of money.

Just received this shredder today, and must say, am quite disappointed. I have had reasonably good luck with Amazon basics products in the past, so was willing to give this a try, even though an expensive product.When the product arrived, it was in an old box, not the usual Amazon packaging. The box was not closed and sealed, instead had the box flaps interlocked and secured with packing tape.When I opened the box, from the top, the shredder was upside down in the box. When I removed the shredder, it only had protective cardboard protecting the wheels which were facing up in the box. The top of the unit, facing down in the box, had no protection at all except for the box itself. Needless to say, this resulted in scratches to the top, and a broken piece of plastic. Additionally, the outside of the shredder was covered in dirt as if it had been sitting unprotected for a long time somewhere, or previously used.I tried the shredder to see if it would still work, and it did, but the auto-feeder jams continuously, even with small batches of paper. The shred quality itself seems quite good, and the looks and size of the device is nice, but it certainly does not look like a new unit.Will evaluate it for a few days before deciding whether or not to return it as I am concerned it received unseen damage due to being upside down and unprotected in the box. I must say that I expected better from Amazon; this purchase has eroded my confidence in their branded products, and at over $500 dollars, they really need to do better.

I am returning this for the second time for the same issue. That paper inlet for the 200 paper stack has two plastic pieces on the sides that break off almost immediately at first or second use. On my first machine, the plastic piece on the right hand side broke off. I returned it and ordered a second machine, same model here it was the plastic on the left that broke off this happened at the very first use, I only had 20 pages of paper in it.The machine regardless continues to function. However, Iām just concerned that over time more will break off, and the machine will become dysfunctional outside the return policy period.Otherwise, it is quiet and efficient. Very easy to use: put paper in, close to it, go away, it does its job.Great unit if only it wouldnāt break.

Auto-feed is hit and miss now, requires constant adjustment. I believe wear on rubber rollers has caused them to have trouble gripping, even with constant cleaning and wiping.Shred quality has decreased drastically within a few months of use. When new, the shreds were very fine, now they are noticeably larger with lots of long strands.I wouldn’t buy this again
