This Fiskars Durable Knife with Softgrip is awesome. It feels great, is sturdy and gets the job done. It’s perfect for my needs and was a great buy for the quality. It looks great as well. It’s easy to change blades, which are sharp, strong and durable. I’m able to use it for needles to re-root doll hair. It fits my medium female hand comfortably. It includes a blade cover to protect the blade and fingers. Follow safety precautions as the blade is very sharp. I’m very happy with this quality product. Ouch, that’s sharp
Very sharp knife. Product arrived in great condition. Works well. Only issue is that this design loosens over time and the blade will fall out, getting lost in your toolbox. That’s why I also purchased a box of spare blades.

Good, Not Raising The Bar Though
Itās a nice razor knife, I appreciate the comfortable non slip style grip. Cuts well, but itās not better than other quality craft knives. Value was right on par, blade fit is sturdy. Only complaint is a lack of a spare blade or ability to utilize it for a variety of tasks as it comes with one standard blade, no back ups. Itās good at what itās designed for. It lack utility that other more comprehensive products may have that can multitask on many different jobs

Great razor knife!
This is now my favorite razor knife, by far. I’ve been getting into wood carving lately, and I like using razor knives with replaceable blades for their sharpness and ability to carve intricate details. I’ve bought probably a dozen different razor blade holders/knives over the years and never been truly pleased with any of them, until now. This one is designed as close to perfect as I could want. The blade attachment/removal knob is on the opposite end from the blade, and holds very tightly. Every other one I own will allow the blade to move if I put very much pressure at all on it. Not this one. It will accept any standard exacto/scalpel blade, and allows for a very quick replacement once the blade gets dull. I will definitely be getting several more so I can have different styles and sizes of blades loaded and ready at all times. I highly recommend this knife, as I do anything made by Fiskars. Everything I’ve bought from them has been very high quality and durable.

I can help with the blade no locking in place
For those having trouble getting the blade to lock, I think I can help. I bought a 2 pack, 2 months ago. Until tonight I had used only one, and it’s been great. Grabbed the second one tonight, and the blade would not stay in place. After examining the good one, I notice the blade was aligned with the little nub on the collet, which also aligns with notch on the collar.After I did the same on the second knife, the blade locks in place.

Absolute waste of money. Lifetime warranty for this item is as useless as the tool itself.See the image for my old unit vs Fiskars.Let me tell you what my old unit does:1 – Collet can be tightened with risking my fingers2 – Collet has a tight grab, blade never moves3 – Good balance, good grip, doesnāt slip. Knurling is great.It is simple but does the job well. I just wanted something bigger and newer with larger handle.What Fiskars did wrong:1 – Orange grip is bs, it doesnāt stay in place when cuttin. You should have just put knurling instead of the orange part. I will probably print a replacement cover with plastic knurling.2 – You canāt hold orange part to twist the handle so you can lock or unlock, because it doesnāt stay in place, so you have to hold by metal part near blade, risk your fingers3 – Collet seizes when you try to remove it to replace blade, you have to knock it on the desk to pop it out.4 – Collet grip mechanism is nonsensical, harder to operate and provides no additional grip ability.I provided the photo, see for yourselves.This was my first and last Fiskars purchase of any kind. I will stick to Japanese blades.

I thought the handle would help relieve the pressure on your fingers when cutting but its too thick and the no matter how tight you turn the screw on the back to hold the blade in place it still moves. Disappointing buy!!!

Great hobby knife! The shape and size of the body definitely helps hold off fatigue longer, and it holds onto the blades much better than your traditional type hobby knife handles. The quick change feature for swapping out blades is a nice addition aswell!
