One of the better photo papers on the market!
Decent price point – works great with my new Epson ET-8550 printer.

Great quality and good thickness
Prior to buying this Canon paper I was using a similar one from Epson in order to make art prints for our home. I wish I had found this sooner, the paper weight is much thicker than the Epson brand and the print quality is incredibly smooth. I’ll be using this paper from now on when I make art prints.

Amazon succeeded where their largest camera competitor could not
When you check on the buyer reviews for this paper on the B&H website, there is a notable number of low ratings based solely upon the package arriving with dented paper corners. If you’re selling your prints, this renders the paper unusable. I’ve given up buying my paper from B&H for this very reason and am happy to report that Amazon’s choice of packaging and carrier ensured that I received the paper in perfect condition. In this case, Amazon’s choice of delivery with the US Postal Service was a good one. Paper delivered by FedEx has been problematic, with not just damaged goods, but unexplained delays. I live in a major metropolitan area, less than 50 miles from the B&H warehouse, and it takes two days for delivery of crushed packages. Prices are pretty much the same, so I’ve decided to use Amazon for all my paper purchases in the future. Now for a review of the paper. I use Canon’s professional matte finish for most of my work. It is pretty economical as paper and in its consumption of ink. I’m getting routine compliments from customers buying prints and from art directors viewing my portfolio in person. Colors are rich and remain stable over time. I can only account for the last 5 years of use though, so longer term than that is untested by me. Handle the paper by Canon’s printed instructions and you should not have any problems. I’d recommend this paper for color work more than for B&W as I personally think that the surface and paper density is not optimized for that. Be careful to note which side of the paper to print on. The front and back surfaces can look almost alike, however the printable side is smoother. You may need to hold it at an angle to a light source to really see the difference. I was having issues signing my prints with the standard black pens that are perfect with other papers. I discovered that signing with a .5 lead graphite pencil gives the cleanest results. Your results may vary, so check that out for yourself.

Stunning prints.
I love this paper. Before I tried this, I thought there was something wrong with my settings or my Canon Pro 100 because prints were muddy with no contrast. Now prints are rich, and the contrast and color are correct. To figure out the correct side to print on: Take a sheet close to a window. You need daylight to see this difference. Roll it in half so you can see both sides — the side that is whiter is the side to print on.

It’s probably as good as we can get.
Staples sold a superior matte photo paper, called Photo Paper Supreme, which has been replaced by some inferior trash sold at the same price as the original. I mention it because the older Staples paper was better than this Cannon paper. The stock was heavier, and it was double-sided.This paper is single-sided. At least blacks turn out as black, and not grey.

Safely arrived
This is not my first purchase and like others, corners arrived bent. I could only use 11×17 of the 13×19. Happy to report this time it was packaged right! No bent corners!Besides that, itās a good quality paper to sell affordable prints. My customers like this matte finish.

Great presentation paper.

excellent Dmax
Excellent rendering, especially in B/W (black only procedure) if you have a good knowledge how. However, after having ordered 3 times this article, I would like to point out that the packaging box of the products is always of VERY BAD QUALITY and the reams of photo paper undergo damages in the corners, during the shipping overseas, which is redhibitoire to use the entire surface.PLEASE CHECK THAT, IT’S IMPORTANT!

DespuƩs de leer otros comentarios, creo que fui afortunado. A mi caja se le ven golpes en las esquinas, pero el papel se encontraba en perfecto estado.

Works out to be less than $2 AUD per sheet. It’s quite rigid and light. You need to hold it up to the light to make sure you’re printing on the right side. You could pay three times as much per sheet for nicer paper, but this is nice enough for a single sided matte paper. The blacks are very very black, if you’re familiar with the paper you can make really impressive black and white portraits too.
