Great prduct and the price was very reasonable.
My old shredder suddenly stopped working and I needed a new one asap. I read the description and decided on buying it. I received this product the next day. Everything was in the box. I had a lot of documents to shred. The shredder does make noise, like all shredders do. I started the shredding process and I love how it does cross micro cuts. WOW! I LOVED IT! It did better than my last shredder. I tried letting it cool down after shredding around 30 pages so that way it doesn’t over heat. Shredders are known to overheat after shredding for at least 2 minutes straight. The worse padt is that once it overheats, you have to wait at least for 30 minutes for it to cool down before the shredder starts operating again. I also discovered that the operating manual stated that you could even use cooking oil to lubricate the gears/blades. Most shredders do not allow use cooking oil for lubricating. Anyway, this was a great purchase and I highly recommend this product. Be aware, this is my own personal, honest opinion. I am not a paid reviewer. Like you, I paid with my own money and it was a great purchase.Ā

This thing is small but it works very well itās confetti so document is not readable after shredded, easy to I use has not jammed and surprised that it hold so many sheets before need to empty.

Tiny, fluffy shreds
I had another shredder for almost two and a half years before it just stopped working/feeding the paper through. So I took to reading reviews of potential replacements yesterday. Queue the frustration of getting through tons of 5-star reviews only to find the 1-star foreboding/warning reviews to negate all that reading. It’s so hard to know what to buy, who to trust, etc., these days, especially on Amazon. I went with my gut and decided to try this one and I am glad I did. It arrived overnight, less than 24 hours later, and worked beautifully right out of the box.Now, I’ve learned with these things so I only fed it one sheet at a time. Never feed any home (or office, really) paper shredder more than 1 piece of paper at a time. It’s just best practice. Feed it credit cards at your own risk. Om-nom-nom the paper shredder chewed those pages nicely. Very satisfying shredding, if I do say so myself. I got through about a bin and a half’s worth of paper just fine. It did get pretty hot, considering, so I can see that it’s not meant for much more in one sitting without risk of overheating. So work in batches for a big job or just shred as you go day-to-day.The shreds are so tiny and fluffy! This makes really soft shreds if you’re looking to reuse as pet bedding or the like. Look, we know these things are temperamental, and none are perfect, nor will any last forever. But in the interest of saving you time and sanity, this one did not disappoint. I will update if anything wild changes about that assessment. It’s a little more than the last one I got ($45 vs. $30) but I do think it is worth the extra $15. (Oh and it’s much quieter!) Go forth with confidence, and may the shredding odds be ever at your favor.

Works good for me
Been using this for a couple months now in my home office, getting rid of old documents. It’s a great shredder in my opinion. I like that it’s a micro shredder. I’ve had no problems with overheating. The only thing I would change is maybe making it a little wider. Since the input slot is just paper sized, sometimes it can get jammed on the edges. If the input was a little wider, the edges of the paper might not jam up.

A Great, QUIET, Capable Paper Shredder!!
Highly recommended for your bulk paper shredding projects. The 12 sheet capacity is probably conservative. Loose packets drop in easily with no hangups or restrictions. Unit does not slow down, overheat, or choke on reasonably large batches of receipts and other misc documents, so progress is fast and efficient! The micro-cut output is just an added bonus. The only minor downside is that the bin on this one shows full when only about half way there. Otherwise, the quiet operation and performance make this a keeper!

Second review after a few days of shredding. It seems to be a beast. Its only used maybe an hour at a time , but so far hasn’t jammed or overheated as for the shredding time it is continuous for the hour or so. I found and shredded 12 to 15 credit cards and it handled them with ease. I initially rate as 4 stars and now changed to 5. I did try 8 sheets and the sound was the same as 6 sheets . no issuesSeems to be a very powerful shredder. i’ve used it for appx an hour or more over 3 days and have not had any issues with over heating, jamming or any other negative operations . I only gave a 4 star rating due to when shredding 5 pages it seems to slow way down. I dont know what 8 sheets would do to it and am not going to test it. i havnt tried credit cards or CD’s so no report there. For some reason i thought it would be bigger but never looked at the specs. I will mention the shredded/motor assembly is quite heavy. i initially thought there was a lock holding the shredder to to the disposal bin. But just have to carefully lift it off the bin .

Over the last 15 years, Iāve owned 4 paper shredders:1) Init NT-PS0CC: Cross-cut, loud, not too bad, lasted 4 years2) Aurora AU1050XE: Cross-cut, quieter, light, lasted 4 years3) Insignia NS-PS10MC: Micro-cut, faster, not loud but not too quiet either, larger and heavy, lasted 6 yearsCurrent: Aurora AU608MB- Micro-cut (less dusty than Insignia NS-PS10MC);- Very quiet (quieter than Aurora AU1050XE);- Very fast (faster than Insignia NS-PS10MC);- Small and light;- Smaller wastebasket than all the other three, but thatās a plus because itās easier to empty it (it fits more easily into regular-size plastic bags and itās so light that even when itās full of shredded paper you can empty it into a bag with one hand.Shredding 6 pages seems to be the maximum, but when shredding 6 itās a tad slower, while shredding up to 5 pages at a time will get you the maximum speed (and it really is fast). It can handle about 8 minutes of constant shredding (if you do 5 sheets at a time – which lasts about 5 seconds – thatās about 60 sheets per minute or 480 sheets in 8 minutes). You can do three full wastebaskets before it needs to rest. Thatās very good performance. At that point, it shuts down due to overheating (as most shredders do).The only downside is that it takes a while to cool down (after 8 minutes of constant work youāll need to give it a 15-minute break before using it again).But at current price (CA$67.80 + tax) this is a very, very good purchase and I certainly recommend it.Cannot speak of longevity yet, as I just bought it recently.The only issue I had with it was the delivery. It wasnāt delivered by Amazon but Purolator instead and they delayed delivery twice (it was supposed to be ānext dayā, then at the end of ānext dayā they rescheduled it for āthe next dayā, and at the end of that ānext dayā they rescheduled it once again to āthe next dayā. Even though it had been on their truck for 48 hours, it arrived in mint condition as the packaging inside was good, holding the shredder in place tightly.

Primera vez que compro una trituradora de papel. Estoy muy satisfecha con la compra.Es muy eficiente, fĆ”cil de usar, prĆ”ctica para deshacerse de papeles y documentos importantes de forma mĆ”s segura.La tapa con la maquinaria y cuchillas es ligeramente pesada pero no implica gran esfuerzo colocarla.TriturĆ³ sobres, publicidad en papel tipo cartulina y tarjetas de crĆ©dito sin problema.El manual viene solo en inglĆ©s. SerĆa adecuado viniera en otros idiomas. Una recomendaciĆ³n es que se lubrique con aceite de cocina y no a base de petrĆ³leo o spray. Por lo menos cada mes, y colocarlo en una hoja de papel para que al pasarlo lubrique las cuchillas.Anexo el manual que encontrĆ© en espaƱol de este modelo. Y aunque tomĆ© dos videos mĆ”s para que se viera que tipos de papel tritura. SĆ³lo me permitiĆ³ subir uno.Estoy muy satisfecha con la compra. LlegĆ³ muy rĆ”pido y su costo ha valido la pena.
