Q1: Why are there paper scraps in the bin or in the cutter when I receive the new paper shredder? Is it a used machine?
A1: Please be assured that all paper shredders purchased from us directly are brand new. In order to ensure the quality and function of the shredder, we 100% tested every machine in production, and some units might not be cleaned completely. We’ll try our best to improve it.
Q2: The machine stops working and the overheating red light is on. What should I do?
A2: Just let it cool for about 20 minutes, then the shredder will resume work again.
Q3: The crosscut shredder is jammed. What should I do?
A3: Please press the “REV” button and pull the paper up. Then continue to press the “FWD” button. Do this several times and the cutter will be cleaned.
Q4: Why is the number of sheets that can be shredded lower than the maximum number of sheets described?
A4: Please check if the paper is damp, contains plastic or too thick. If so, please let the paper dry before shredding, or remove the plastic part, or reduce shredding sheets per pass. To extend the lifetime of the paper shredder, please don’t shred more than 16 sheets at one time.
Q5: How often should I lubricate the document shredder?
A5: In order to prolong the service life of the paper shredder, please use professional paper shredder lubricating sheet or oil to lubricate the machine once or twice a month.
Q6: The machine is broken, but the return window is closed. What can I do?
A6: BONSEN provides a one-year service. No matter whether the return window is closed or not, we will still provide you with the best solution.

Very impressive thus far
Bought this to replace a Fellowes unit that pooped out after 15 years of light duty home shredding. Very quiet, nice design, a little smaller than my prior machine so easier to move around. Biggest plus so far, I can put credit card receipts into the slot and don’t have to hold my mouth just right to get it to start up. Worth it, remains to be seen if it’ll go for 15 years.

Professional Grade Shredder
This is the shredder you want. It is very efficient and has taken on anything we put in it including those fake credit cards from the banks. We shredded an entire years worth of junk mail kept in a box after our other shredder was gifted to our son and we went looking for another one. The quality of the machine is top notch, it is very easy to empty, the cross cut makes little shreds instead of long strips, and the motor is very strong. Of the several we have owned over the years this one is by far the best. For what it cost it is a fantastic value. Highly recommended

Worth the money 100%
It’s FAR superior to any other I’ve ever had. It’s QUIET to operate – it doesn’t sound like a wood chipper slicing up thick bones lol. The container can hold far more than most and another point to note is that you can put in an entire envelope full if you want without it bogging down. You probably will not have to purchase another shredder again if you get this one. Most really SUCK and cost far too much but this one is worth the extra because you won’t keep repurchasing cheap junk over and over.

Was the best paper shredder I ever used until it shut off, burn smell from a jam. I got over 21/2 years from this and it worked awesome. Unfortunately, these companies only have 1 year warranty: a sad scam to provide products with only a 1 year guarantee and no accountability to replace or repair. I would buy again with an amazon warranty attached….Wife got me another brand, so we shall see

Have owned other shredders for sensitive documents etc & wanted a top of the line.THIS SHREDDER:MICRO-CUT = The better cut, it’s like tiny confetti, not strips that could be glued back together.TINY-SIZED MICRO-CUT “CONFETTI” = This one micro cuts to a tiny size; better since the whole purpose is to shred for security reasonsQUIET = 60 db (imho) Not loud. I sat right in front of it & could’ve talked on my phone at the same time. So, you could also use this is one room & it wouldn’t hinder anyone else sleeping or watching TV etc in another area.GOOD SIZE = 5.3 gallon means you could shred 480pages before you need to empty it. Big enough to shred & hold a bunch, but not so big that you can’t make is discreet in a room or home officeEASY SETUP = Super easy right out of the box. BONSEN SHREDDER: READ BEFORE YOU BUY
I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND SHREDDER!! I BOUGHT THERE HEAVY DUTY 16 PAGE SHREDDER.I had to replace the first one because of it being defective!And Now after just barely past the warranty period AND I MEAN ABOUT 1MONTH past the warranty I started having problems with the shredding.I barely used my shredder when it started jerking when shredding, started making a loud clicking noise, started making a loud squeaking sound started having issues with it pulling the paper in to shred.I started having problems with it auto shutting off (it kept running until I turned the power off manually).I contacted the manufacturer, submitted multiple videos at there demand, explained my issues and reminded them there own trouble shooting guide stated to stop using it and replace it. I asked them if they would replace it based on having so many issues and that they had to replace the first one sent to me AND THE FACT IT WAS JUST PASTED THE WARRANTY PERIOD. I was finally TOLD NO BECAUSE IT WAS PASSED THE WARRANTY PERIOD.You would think customer satisfaction in there product was and meant something to them!!SO BOTTOM LINE: THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THERE PRODUCT & THERE PRODUCT DOES NOT HOLD UP!!!For the money I Paid for this 16 sheet heavy duty shredder you would think it would have lasted longer than 13 Months!!DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THERE PRODUCTS!!! I had a good cross-cut shredder for years but it finally burnt out. I was really impressed with this as a replacement. It shreds things much finer than previous shredders. It is incredibly quiet, very fast. After shredding, it reverses automatically to clear the machine.

Donāt know why I didnāt opt for spending the extra money for a more robust shredder sooner. This machine shreds 2-5 page documents without pause for prolonged periods. Quiet as it works and gets the job done very efficiently. Large collection bin which diminishes the frequent required emptying. Being used for home office with moderate to intermittent large paper shredding needs. Very satisfied with product.
