Just right and works great!
It works very well! I like the cross cut feature, makes me feel better about privacy. The receptacle hold quite a bit because the shred it smaller with the cross cutting. The most paper I have shredded at one time is 3 sheets, only because I jammed my previous one with more than that. The value for the money is well worth it!

Good model, gets hot easily
The bin is taller than previous models, but I like that you do not have to lift off the motor to empty the bin. It can get hot more quickly than older models, so be patient when you have larger loads to shred. Have lubricant sheets on hand for continued care of the blades. With the mess the paper confetti makes, it is worth having a bin liner, regardless of the type you select.

Do not purchase
Day 2 of using the shredder, I was on the phone with Staples trying to troubleshoot. First issue was that it just stopped shredding even after the paper removal from the blades..Issue 2 It started to shred again but this time there’s a piece in the middle which prevented paper from being shredded normally, instead I had to fold the paper up and inserted at the corners of the shredder blades. Issue number 3 now it’s shredding correctly but it will not shut off after shredding one sheet of paper so I wouldn’t have to manually shut it off or it overheats very quickly.. I thought it was a deal for 29.99 but it’s really a headache. I will be returning it ASAP
