Q1: Why is the home office shredder not working?
A1-1: Please make sure you assemble the head and basket in correct directions.The front of the shredder head should be aligned with the protruding side of the trash can.
A1-2: Overheating, this design with 5 minute continuous run time with 40 minute cool down after use. Please allow the shredder to cool for at least 40 mins , otherwise it will not work properly.
A1-3: Paper jams can also be one of the reasons for not working. Please use the FWD and REV function to clean up the cutter scraps and the shredding work can be done again.
Q2: The crosscut paper shredder is jammed. What should I do?
A2: Please slide the switch to REV and pull up the paper, after removing the exceed sheets, please shred again. If there is too much paper scraps in the paper feed slot, slide the switch to FWD mode for a few seconds and then to REV mode for a few seconds. Do this several times and the cutter will be cleaned.
Q3: Why is the number of sheets that can be shredded lower than the maximum number of sheets described?
A3: Please check if the paper is damp, contains plastic is too thick, if so, please let the paper dry before shredding, or remove the plastic part, or reduce shredding sheets per pass. To extend the lifetime of the paper shredder, please don’t shred more than 12 sheets at one time.
Q4: The shredder is broken, but the return window is closed. What should I do?

An absolute powerhouse of a shredder!
Apr 2023 Update: 6+ months and this thing is still going strong! Just bought shredder oil sheets for the first time ever because how durable it’s been!Original Review: So far this is the best shredder I’ve ever owned by a wide margin! Glad I spent a little bit more money on a much higher quality product (I got the 10min one too), this is the best bang for your buck!I’ve had a few shredders before in the ~$40 range (mostly Staples ones) that broke pretty quickly — this one really doesn’t cost that much more, comparatively. They’d only be able to do like 5 sheets (nowhere near 12) and eventually plastic bits would start falling out of the insides and it would stop working. If you put in like 4 sheets and folded one accidentally, those would jam immediately. Then the jams would be hard to clear and could damage the shredder. Or you’d run it for like a minute and it would start overheating already and start malfunctioning.So far, with this shredder, in a few weeks’ time period, I already shredded more than I have in the past 5 years combined. Probably did like ~10,000 sheets of lots of old documents. That’s how much of a powerhouse this shredder is compared to all the other ones I’ve owned previously! So it’s been easily worth the money already as it has outlasted the others that would start malfunctioning at ~1,000 sheets.It’s also never jammed on me! I’ve never tried 12 sheets on it, but it’ll do 6 sheets no problem, whereas my previous shredders would start falling apart — literally — if you tried 6 sheets.And this thing can run for like an hour without overheating! Like I get tired out and I have to take a break well before it overheats. Whereas with previous ones, I’d spend like 2 minutes and already had to wait for it to cool down. Now the bottleneck isn’t the shredder, but me!Also, because it’s been so durable so far, I’m no longer afraid of shredding things here and there, worried that the shredder might suddenly break. Sometimes I shred some old documents as a therapeutic, meditative activity now — shred your worries away xDIt also holds more paper than my previous shredders before I have to clean it out. And while it is taller than I expected, that surprisingly made it more ergonomic so I didn’t have to lean over as much while shredding.As some reviewers have noted, when I got it I did check the insides and did see some bits of shredded paper. That seemed sketchy, but it does say on the note that comes with it that they “test every shredder” and so that’s why you might see some leftover bits. And honestly, even if it is used, it’s outlasted my previous shredders by a 10x margin already, so it’s good quality stuff either way.So, overall, well worth the price, best bag for my buck I’ve had with a shredder. Bonsaii also has a 1-year warranty (and the reviews seem to say that they’ve made good on that too!), which is why I originally bought it with my past shredder purchases going awry. Good value shredder
Weāve been needing a shredder for a while and then finally decided on this one. We had been previously manually tearing up all the excess packing paper from orders to use in our worm bin and it just takes too much time. This makes the process so much more simple.You do have to mostly flatten out and fold (to make more narrow) the paper to get it to fit in the feeder which is why we wanted something that could handle 12 pages since some times the wrinkles donāt get totally flattened and it ends up being 8-10 layers rather than 4-6.If the paper is damp at all it does stick/jam/make the machine stop, so if you are in a damp environment keep that in mind.The reverse function and pulling on the paper for a few seconds usually solves this and then I flip it back to FWD to run for 20-30 seconds to clear out any of the extra shreds caught in the blades. The shorter (less than three feet) runs of paper are a little easier to control than the long ones since it tends to go a little awry in the machine and pinch at one of the sides.A 5 minute run time seems short, but once you get to shredding itās about all you can handle before getting bored and annoyed by the noise!Overall it works well, and helps our compost/recycling and makes great bedding for our worm farm! Also a great value for the money.

Lightweight and Grinds Great
I bought this because it looked small enough for me to carry. It also had a handle on top which helps a lot. When it came, the paper basket was broken. I told them and sent it back. I received a new one in two days before they even received the broken one! The replacement works great. I can lift it fine. I put garbage bags in the basket so I can just lift it out and put it in the recycling bin. When I take the top off, I put it on another garbage bag. Some paper did stick to it so I used those lubricating sheets and that seemed to help. You can run it for 5 minutes at a time and rest it for 40 minutes. My statements were 5 or 6 pages each and this can do 12 pages at a time. I went through statements until I got a small pile then fed it for 5 minutes. Then I went through more statements while it was resting. In a few days I went through huge piles of statements. It ground them smaller than our old machine and is smaller and lighter. I really like the machine and the seller. It makes the work a lot easier.

Reliable and Efficient Shredder for Home or Office Use
I’ve run hundreds of pages through this shredder so far, and it’s handled everything smoothly, no jams, no hiccups. Itās powerful enough to take on paper, credit cards, mail, and even staples without any issues. The 5-gallon bin is a convenient size, and the transparent window makes it easy to see when it’s time to empty. While it does have overheat protection, I havenāt triggered it yet, even during longer sessions. Overall, a solid, dependable shredder that does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

Love this shredder! The conatiner is bigger than the average 4 gallon. It is super quiet and shreds like a dream (very tiny pieces) . But I specially love that it has a handle, which makes it so much easier to lift the top. I put a garbage bag in the bin and it’s so easy to empty! I haven’t tried to shred more than 4 sheets at once and it does that with ease. Perfect for my needs.

I bought this to replace a lousy cheap thing in my office. My needs are modest. I have a Rexel domestic product at home that has chugged on for 20 years of self-employed duty, it shreds two pages at a time if they’re not thick. It gets hot and is slow and easy to jam, but has been reliable.This shredder is about the same noise level as my Rexel, does cross cut pretty well, and has a good sized bucket for the shreds, with a window which is indeed very useful. It isn’t particularly fast and it copes with maybe four sheets of paper, but I stick to two because more just slows it down, stresses the thing, and will reduce it’s lifespan.It is listed as for light office duty, I think that’s a good description. To me it’s work is a few sheets regularly, with infrequent sessions shredding the odd ream of old files. If that is your workload, this will do fine. If you need something fast and dependable for regular office file shredding, can’t take the time to remove staples &c, or need 12 sheets shredded at a time, I would suggest look at paying a fair bit more for a commercial-duty shredder which this does not pretend to be.It has a reverse ‘always on’ setting for clearing jams, but no ‘always on’ forward setting which can be useful. However, it stays on for a couple of seconds after the paper has passed through which goes a long way to clearing any impending jams.

Good quality paper shredder. Easy to set up and use. I have not put a lot of paper through it, but I do use it regularly and it has always worked well, no problems. The container holds a lot of paper and there is a clear line to show you when it needs to be emptied. The unit does not take up a lot of space, so it can be kept next to an outlet for ease of use. I recommend this product.
