We use these when dry camping in the RV, so I donāt expend water or grey tank space on dishwashing. Sturdy enough for multiple uses before discarding, and they can go instead of adding to the trash pack out.We have the bowls, small plates and larger plates. I would class the plates as cake plate and lunch plate size, not dinner plate. Which are perfect sizes for us.

UPDATED REVIEW!!I want to sincerely apologize for my initial review, as I did not fully read the product description. My first comment was inaccurate, so I am removing my 1-star rating and replacing it with 4 stars. Although the utensils are look like plastic, they are actually made from a plant-based, biodegradable material, which is environmentally friendly and a great alternative to traditional plastics.That being said, I still would have returned them because they didnāt quite match the ālookā I was going for (a bohemian, earthy, natural table setting). However, if I ever need disposable utensils again, I would definitely consider purchasing from this vendor. Their environmentally conscious products are well made and align with sustainable values.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The plates are paper, but THE UTENSILS ARE PLASTIC! Very misleading description. It does not mention that the forks, knives, and spoons are plastic. I purchased this set because I did not want to buy plastic. This defeats the purpose of trying to be environmentally conscious.

Wanted something eco friendly for a large barbecue I was throwing. This arrived packaged in cardboard with no plastic packaging- bonus! The plates and bowls were excellent quality and held the weight of food well. The cutlery works very well for wood forks, knives, and spoons. Iāve even put the wood cutlery in the dishwasher a few times and have been able to reuse before composting. Overall very happy and highly recommend if youāre looking for an eco friendly party option
